  • Documents: Files, PDFs, and photos you import into the App for the purpose of sending a fax. We process these only to complete your requested transmission and do not store them longer than necessary.

  • Communications: If you contact our support team, we collect the content of your messages and your contact information.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, faxes sent, and in-app actions.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Crash reports and diagnostics: Technical data to help us identify and fix bugs and improve performance.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics on our website to understand how users interact with our content.

1.3 Payment Information

All payments are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect, store, or process your credit card or payment details directly. Apple's Privacy Policy governs any payment data.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver and process your fax transmissions
  • Maintain and improve the App and Site
  • Manage subscriptions and credits
  • Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use the content of your faxed documents for advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Documents you upload for fax transmission are deleted from our servers promptly after the transmission is completed or fails. Fax history and recipient data is retained in your account until you delete it.

You have the right to:

  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

All fax transmissions are encrypted. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App and Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. By using our App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this policy.

10. Subscription Information

FaxDoc is free to download. Sending is available via subscription or credits. Subscriptions are managed through Apple ID settings. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
